The Urban Dictionary defines Juvenate as "To re-energize yourself before losing any initial energy or vigor you had beforehand." Our instructor, "Fabulous Juan" interprets this to mean taking care of yourself before you need it. That is the theme for this on-going class. Juan is a graduate of the Sani Yoga teacher training. As a practitioner who came to yoga late in life, Fabulous Juan understands the challenges that face an adult learner. If you have no or little yoga experience, or have physical limitations that may have kept you from participating in other yoga classes, this is the perfect fit for you! We cater to adult learners and those who are not already accomplished yogis, although accomplished yogis will find plenty to find in this class. Gentle Stretch class: GYROKINESIS® Method
Gently increase your spine and joint mobility
This gentle, flowing moving stretch class is a mix of gentle yoga, Franklin Method, and Gyrokinesis Method that is great for people who are seeking to improve flexibility and work out aches and pains. It can be useful whether you are rehabilitating from injury or an advanced athlete/dancer looking to take yourself to the next level. The approach systematically and gently works the joints and muscles through rhythmic and undulating movements. It is ideal for those challenged by scoliosis and arthritis, among other ailments!
