Gentle Stretch class: GYROKINESIS® Method
Gently increase your spine and joint mobility
This gentle, flowing moving stretch class is a mix of gentle yoga, Franklin Method, and Gyrokinesis Method that is great for people who are seeking to improve flexibility and work out aches and pains. It can be useful whether you are rehabilitating from injury or an advanced athlete/dancer looking to take yourself to the next level. The approach systematically and gently works the joints and muscles through rhythmic and undulating movements. It is ideal for those challenged by scoliosis and arthritis, among other ailments! Please note: this class is being covered by Carrie Field who is pursing her degree as an Occupational Therapist. Carrie teaching a Gentle Stretch & Core Mobilization class in its place while Bianca is on professional sabbatical. Come give it a try! Their methods and approaches overlap. Class cards accepted. YOGA w/ KARINA Power Yoga- Movements are linked together to increase heart rate. Large muscle groups are used here to create a nice workout. Wednesdays 7:30pm Gentle Yoga Flow- Focus on breath work and stretching to release tension from the week to allow relaxation before going into the weekend. Fridays at 7:30pm This is a donation-based class. (Yoga mat supplies are limited, so if you have your own, please bring it.)
