Your Instructors 2024
Bianca Starr, MSc & MA has been specializing in adult ballet since 2010 and is now one of the global specialists in adult beginning ballet, as well as a safe dance authority and an alignment specialist. Her classes are known for being fun and inspiring, as well as detailed. Her professional education includes training at West Side Dance Physical Therapy in New York City, an MSc in Exercise and Nutrition Science, and an MA in Dance Performance. She has also trained with living dance method legends Finis Jhung and Eric Franklin. Bianca is honored to have guest taught in Paris, Berlin, and at the International Adult Ballet Festival.
Alex Ossadnik came up through government scholarship and professional training at the prestigious Palucca School in Dresden, Germany. He performed with the Ballet Theatre de Bordeaux in France and was a principal dancer with the German National Theatre Weimar. Moving to the United States in 1995, he has worked with numerous companies as a teacher, ballet master, choreographer, and artistic director. His classes are known for being both revelatory and full of humor. Alex is a student favorite at Bianca Lily Ballet!
Kris Kehl a former company member of Colorado Ballet and native, Kris founded Denver Dance Center in 2009, a studio geared specifically for adults and professionals of all levels. During her time at Colorado Ballet, she took over a struggling adult program and continued to build her vision of what Denver Dance Center is today. Her training includes ABT, Joffrey, with David Howard, Martin Friedman and Elizabeth Douchard in Paris. Kris has been invited to teach and perform at the largest dance festival in Joinville, Brazil as well as dance festivals in Bento Goncalves Brazil and Rosario Argentina. Other guest teaching includes Santiago Chile, Aspen/Santa Fe Ballet and Ballet Hawaii. She continues to be a popular teacher in Denver, her classes are upbeat, moving, musically enjoyable and a positive learning experience.
Kelly Davis cloistered at the Sivananda Ashram in Kerala, India. She has studied meditation in Korea and obtained her yoga teaching license in 2016 from Sani Yoga. Jer yoga classes blend fundamental poses, breath work and metta philosophies of loving kindness. Kells brings a warm heart and a sense of fun to her classes.
Diana MacNeil a lifelong and professional modern dancer and member and lead dancers of the Lewitzky Dance Company. Diana was also the head of dance at the Idyllwild School of Music and the Arts and has taught and choreographed for the the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, Loyola Marymount University, Occidental College, The Cerritos Center for the Arts and the Yorke Dance Project, to name a few. Her choreography, costuming and performance skills have reaped several Horton awards. There is even footage of her dancing solo works enshrined in the Library of Congress. We are honored and lucky to have this special legacy dancer and teacher!
Carol Brusca, LMFT & MA is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, National Wellness Trainer, and Certified Clinical Trauma professional. Carol enjoys teaching others about trauma, the benefits of wellness, and the simple steps that can be taken to reduce stress and increase happiness. Carol has extensive experience teaching at the college level to both bachelor’s and graduate level students and training all manner of professionals. A long time practitioner of yoga and mindfulness, she is also an avid ballet student.

Cancellation Policy for SF Adult Ballet Weekend Programs and Events
If a registrant is unable to attend an event for any reason they may substitute someone else in and must provide Bianca Lily Ballet with the name, phone number, and email of the replacing participant.
Where the registrant is unable to attend or chooses to withdraw his/her registration, and is not in a position to transfer his/her place to another person, then the following refund arrangements apply:
Registrations canceled more than 60 days before the event will be refunded 80% of the registration fees minus gross receipts tax.
Registrations canceled less than 60 but more than 30 days before the event will be refunded 50% of the registration fees minus gross receipts tax.
Registrations canceled less than 30 days before the event will not be eligible for a refund.
For registrations canceled less than 30 days before the event that involve a medical or family emergency that can be documented by a third party agency, we will consider a partial refund on a case by case basis if there is sufficient enrollment. In these uncertain times we recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your investment in the event of a last-minute illness or injury.
Deposits (as opposed to full payment) on Early Bird registrations are non-refundable.
Hotel Santa Fe Hacienda & Spa reservations will be made and paid directly from the participant to the Hotel Santa Fe and will require a one night deposit to obtain the group rate by referencing Bianca Lily Ballet. Per hotel policy, the individual must cancel their hotel room reservation at least 48 hours prior to arrival, or the one-night deposit will be forfeited. The same holds true for early departures. Attendees will be responsible for their own room, tax and incidental charges upon check out.
