Always wanted to try ballet, but never had the chance? Or maybe the classes you tried were too intimidating? This class is designed specifically for you! This is the very basics of movement fundamentals laid out in a simple format that builds from week to week, slowly and with repetition. My goal as an instructor is not just to give you a ballet class, but also to give you a better, healthier way of moving in your everyday life outside the studio. You are guaranteed personal attention because each session is limited in size to 12. Each class starts with a special warm up and ends with stretching.
No special shoes or dance clothing required.*

*Socks are acceptable for this course, but if you would like to purchase ballet flats, we recommend canvas split-soles.

Why do I have to sign up for the full 6 weeks?
Because ballet is one of the most challenging activities on the planet! And if you want to really benefit from it as an adult you need a different learning process, at least to start. Each week will have special focus such as how to build proper posture, the anatomy of external rotation and how apply it, etc. Over 6 weeks we will build your neurological capacity as well as your strength, flexibility, and coordination. Bianca has been teaching this curriculum since 2010 and is the global specialists in adult beginning ballet. This system really works and will enable you to make ballet work for YOUR body as a recreational student.

What if I have to miss a class?
It is, of course, best if you can make all the classes. But if you have to miss a class, Bianca will try to meet you before the next class to give you some of the information. Unfortunately, it does not change the price of tuition because we have limited spaces for students. We hope you understand and because it is hard to make a living in the arts!

Cancellation Policy
Payment is due at the time of registration. A 60% refund of your tuition can be granted 10 days prior to the commencement of the first class. Students who do not show up for the first week of class forfeit their tuition. Students who miss a session within the series period are entitled to may be offered an opportunity for some catch-up instruction prior to the next class (time permitting.)
Why do I give such a steep discount for two sessions a week? Because I want to do everything I can to encourage my students to take class twice a week. Adults taking ballet for the first time are having to develop brand new sets of neuropathways and use muscles they may never have never actively used before. Students who are able to practice the exercises in a supervised capacity more often see results much more rapidly and master the movements more quickly.
