Meet Christina Noel Adcock Born into a dance legacy family, Ms. Noel Adcock began her training with her grandmother Jeanette Noel, who had been a prima ballerina for the Brussels Opera. A dancer of color she broke boundaries and danced professionally in Chicago, San Diego, and Denver as a soloist and then principal dancer before going on to be the dance director Arvada Center for the Arts outside of Denver, CO. She is also the ballet mistress for the Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Company. While deeply rooted in artistic tradition, Christina's instructional approach embraces science and modern developments in ballet technique with an emphasis on injury prevention. A long time pioneer and now leading expert in safe dance, her students have remarkably low incidents of injury and have gone on to become professional ballet and Broadway dancers. Her insight, kindness, and inspirational classes make her a favorite whenever she visits New Mexico.
