We prioritize and specialize in providing adults with safe, fun, supportive instruction so that they can authentically progress in their ballet journey- both technically and artistically! TWO tracks of technique and specialty classes to choose from as well as yoga to sooth and mind, heart, and body at the end of each day. Ballet with Bianca or the phenomenal Christina Noel Adcock!

Your Instructors

Christina Noel Adcock
is a third generation ballerina and ballet teacher. Christina danced professionally in Chicago, San Diego, and Denver as a soloist and principal dancer before becoming an artistic director and master teacher. She is the ballet mistress for the Cleo Parker Robinson professional dance company and recently retired from her position as the director of dance at the Arvada Center for the Arts. One of the early pioneers of safe dance technique, she was named a "Legend of Dance" in 2024 by the Colorado Dance Education Organization. Christina's inspiring and insightful classes are always a favorite when she comes to Albuquerque! Learn more about her HERE.

Bianca Starr, MSc & MA has been specializing in adult ballet since 2010 and is now one of the global specialists in adult beginning ballet, as well as a safe dance authority and an alignment specialist. Her classes are known for being fun and inspiring, as well as detailed. Her professional education includes training at West Side Dance Physical Therapy in New York City, an MSc in Exercise and Nutrition Science, and an MA in Dance Performance. She has also trained with living dance method legends Finis Jhung and Eric Franklin. Bianca is honored to have guest taught in Paris, Berlin, and at the International Adult Ballet Festival.

Doug Erb believes a journey with yoga can change lives and breath work (pranayama) is a valuable technique to help alleviate stress and anxiety. As a Bianca Lily Ballet student himself, Doug has an understanding of what dance students need and brings a special soothing vibe to his classes. With his training in trauma-informed teaching, he will be a special capstone to our classes on this particular weekend when we hope to provide you with rest, solace, and connection.

Cancellation Policy for Nov. 2 & 3 Intensive 2024

1. If a registrant is unable to attend an event for any reason they may substitute someone else in and must provide Bianca Lily Ballet with the name, phone number, and email of the replacing participant.
2. Where the registrant is unable to attend or chooses to withdraw his/her registration, and is not in a position to transfer his/her place to another person, then the following refund arrangements apply:
   1. Registrations canceled more than 30 days before the event will be refunded 80% of the registration fees minus gross receipts tax.
   2. Registrations canceled less than 30 but more than 7 days before the event will be refunded 50% of the registration fees minus gross receipts tax.
   3. Registrations canceled less than 7 days before the event will not be eligible for a refund.
3. For registrations canceled less than 7 days before the event that involve a medical or family emergency that can be documented by a third party agency, we will consider a partial refund on a case by case basis if there is sufficient enrollment. In these uncertain times we recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your investment in the event of a last-minute illness or injury if you are coming from afar.
