Thursday, August 18th Beginner Adult Ballet 6:30-8:20pm Appropriate for dance students recovering from injury or with limited physical capability as well as those with minimal (6 weeks to 6 months) of ballet training. Saturday, August 20th Adult Intermediate Master Class 12:15-2:15pm The first 1 hour and 15 minutes of this class will be simpler combinations, but will be useful to dancers of all skill levels. The last 45 minutes will consist of challenging combinations. This will enable dancers of different levels to attend and more novice dancers to step out when the combinations becomes more challenging. $20 cash or check at the door or click here for a $50 weekend pass!
Born into a dance legacy family, Ms. Noel Adcock began her training with her grandmother Jeanette Noel, who had been a prima ballerina for the Brussels Opera. Groomed in the world of ballet by greats from the Paris Opera, Harkness, ABT, Royal Ballet and Finis Jhung himself, Ms Noel-Adcock danced professionally in Chicago, San Diego, and Denver as a soloist and principal dancer before going on to be the artistic director and ballet mistress for the acclaimed Arvada Center for the Arts outside of Denver, CO. She is also the ballet mistress for the Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Company. A member of the International Association of Dance Medicine and Science, she presented at their Annual Conference in October 2013. Her areas of expertise include advanced pointe and pointe preparation, injury prevention, extension development, petite allegro, and performance tips to make any body look great on stage.
